We welcome warmly two new chapters to our community of support

August 28, 2021

With open arms the Black Future Lawyers Working Group has approved the formation of chapters at the University of Ottawa and the University of Toronto, St. George campus. The addition grows the total number of chapters to five after the establishment in 2020 of Ontario chapters at McMaster University, Western University and York University.

The chapters are official undergraduate student associations at their respective universities and are the result of strong desire of their leaders to facilitate having more Black lawyers in the legal profession. The leaders have an open invitation to their local undergraduate students to register as members of both their chapter and to central BFL in order to access the full suite of supports, activities and initiatives to achieve their career goals.
