Black Future Lawyers Working Group
Message from the Dean, UofT Law
“The Faculty of Law believes that legal education should be accessible to talented students from all segments of Canadian society. We know that law schools play an important role in supporting students from underrepresented communities to gain admission to law school, and that deliberate and proactive efforts are required to ensure that the legal profession is truly representative of Canadian society.
We are very pleased to be working in collaboration with our Black Law Students' Association, our Black alumni, and other members of our law school community to offer a series of initiatives that we hope will move us towards greater representation of Black students at this law school and in the legal profession.”
